Wishing You A Happy New Year

Koraspeaks wishes you a happy and healthy new year.

It is interesting how time flows so fast.

New Year’s is celebrated worldwide, and the festivities may begin at different time frames depending on your location.

Most times, a firework show may be the way the holiday is celebrated. In other ways, it can be watch night services or simply logging onto zoom and praying in the new year. Some travel to bring in the new year and spend time eating collard greens and black eye peas to bring in “good luck” and “wealth.”

As we are a few days into 2023, I’d like to give some tips and advice on tackling the year.

First, give your entire year to the almighty God. Then, ask the Lord Christ how you can approach the year. Ask him to order your steps, and clarify what and how you can close the year within quarters. Ask him to remove any persons who may not be beneficial and to add positive people who mean you the absolute best.

Then, within twelve months, journal and make notecards on how you can set weekly and monthly goes within the year.

Please don’t overwhelm yourself with trying to do it all in one moment. Instead, simplify your task to make the best progress possible.

Also, people often decide to share their new year’s resolutions. So instead of publicly declaring what you will do for yourself, keep this information private.

Some people may have to share this publicly to complete the goals. But what happens when you don’t meet those goals? How about telling yourself and doing your best to finish them?

I hope this new year brings clarity, peace and hope to you. This fresh start gives you a chance to be all you can be and set out to do the things you want to do. So let’s make the year about growth and living out loud without fear.
